The staff were very friendly and helpful - particularly with providing a restaurant recommendation on the first day. The rooms were clean, quiet and the beds were very comfortable. The additional touch of providing pyjamas was one of the highlights! The bathroom was small but perfect for what we needed. We were only staying for a couple of days, so it did not bother us that there was little in terms of clothes storage available. An additional bonus was the breakfast, which I did not expect. Small (cereal, pastries, coffee, etc.) but enough to get us on our way for an early lunch! Should you need, there were also umbrellas, bottles of water, basic bathroom kits etc. It was located a short walk from Shinkjuku station. There is a convenience store just around the corner. I didn't realise Shinjuku had a prolific red light area, but there were plenty of other bars and restaurants in the vicinity.

I previously stayed at Bespoke Sapporo and liked it, so I expected this one to be similar. While the room itself is quite the same, the overall vibe is very different and just not my style. It was quite noisy, especially because they offer a free-flow drink time for guests — some people stayed in the lobby making loud conversations. The breakfast was also disappointing. We booked for four people with breakfast included, but only one of us ended up eating because the only option was cornflakes, which really isn’t our kind of meal. The location is close to Shinjuku, which is convenient, but the street next to the hotel is lined with host bars, and that made us feel uncomfortable — definitely not the atmosphere we were looking for. That said, the hotel staff were very kind and helpful, and the cleaning service was excellent.

The type wasn't typical japan hotel, the vibe was very global travellers friendly. The room was very clean. Most of the staff spoke English quite well and super friendly. They had konbini Mybasket right next to the building, another option for familymart/lawson also around 50 meters nearby. The free flow donut and coffee-tea were something that my kids looking forward to, especially when we reached back to the hotel in the evening everyday. The heater at lobby hotel also a bonus point during winter. Aircon/heater works very well in each room. We booked room with 3 beds, surprisingly 4 of us fit just in the 2 main beds (we are asians btw) the third bed was considered bonus extra space.

The location is fun, but you will have a little walk to subway stops. However, it is Tokyo so be ready to walk. The room was comfortable. You have a nice bed, room windows can open, good black out curtains. Lots of free water available on site. They provide nice toiletries. They have a free happy hour with Sake, Wine, Whisky, Coke and Fizzy water. The continental breakfast was okay, it could use a hard boiled egg or piece of fruit though. We got the deluxe twin so it wasn't crammed small and we got pajamas. The room could fit a 3rd bed, but that would be tight. There is laundry on site. The lobby and downstairs area smells great and has nice seating.

Service was excellent, room and beds were clean and comfy, and fabulous location, slightly away from the absolute bustle of Shinjuku but still close enough to walk there in 10 mins. There was a local Metro Station that was 300m away that was nice and quiet so we didn't have to deal with the massive main Shinjuku Station. There was a free continental breakfast included in the room rate, free donuts and coffee throughout the day, and a happy hour bar with free wine and sake available in the evenings for guests, which made it feel like really good value for money. I would definitely book this hotel again.
